Perfect Circle is a joint venture of three built environment consultancies: Gleeds, Pick Everard and AECOM. It exists only to deliver the SCAPE consultancy single supplier framework for the public sector.
The Challenge
As the incumbent, Perfect Circle had to secure the next six-year appointment from SCAPE Group, with a contract value of £550m. The bid was business critical, and it had to bring together the bid directors and views of three separate organisations.
The Approach
Sandbox Studios was the bid integrator, from pre-bid strategy through to the interview. As a party impartial to the three firms, it brokered their views, and defined and strengthened the commitments of the collaboration. The team managed and storyboarded the bid; wrote, edited and critically reviewed it; developed the creative themes and graphics; and coached the team for interview.
In a room of expert Bid Directors from three organisations, SANDBOX's leadership approach was invaluable to defining and strengthening the commitments of the collaboration, shaping the winning bid.
They brokered the best from a myriad of views and voices, reaching the best evidence and ideas through challenging thinking, planning and writing, in ways that could only be done by someone impartial to the collaborating businesses.
The Outcome
Perfect Circle won the six-year single supplier framework.
