Vizlib is a London-based business intelligence software company. Its products plug into Qlik Sense, extending what users can do to analyse data and visualise trends, and their no-code interface puts Vizlib in competition with Tableau and Power BI.
The Challenge
Vizlib operated in the UK and, under the sub-brand Astrato, in the US. Its marketing team was stretched across regions, industries and tones of voice. Each audience needed its own content, with separate messaging, spelling and structure, and nothing duplicated between them. Vizlib needed a partner that could deliver consistent SEO content at scale and at speed.
The Approach
Vizlib signed a monthly content retainer with Nine Stones in September 2022. Each month, for each brand, Nine Stones wrote one 1,500-word pillar article and three 1,000-word supporting articles: eight pieces and 9,000 words a month in all.
Four copywriters were dedicated to the account, so work could turn round quickly without losing accuracy or either brand's voice. Each article came with SEO guidance and up to two rounds of amends, on a two-week production cycle.
The arrangement flexed as priorities changed. Deliverables moved between brands depending on the month's focus, pillar content was expanded, and topics and keywords were prioritised to match marketing goals.
The Outcome
Over 11 months, Nine Stones produced nearly 150,000 words of SEO content for Vizlib and Astrato. The engagement ended with both teams keen to work together again. Vizlib has since grown to more than 1,000 enterprise customers and 150 employees in four countries, and is now part of insightsoftware.
