How Moriyama Built One Umbraco Platform for Everywhen's Brands
Everywhen runs several insurance brands, each with its own identity, products and customers. Moriyama built one multi-site Umbraco platform that powers them all and still lets each brand feel distinct.

Everywhen sells personal and business insurance through several brands, including Everywhen, Footman James and regional variants, each with its own identity, products and customer journeys. It wanted one platform to run them all.
The Challenge
Each brand needed enough flexibility to feel distinct, without duplicated systems, duplicated content management or extra technical overhead. Customers needed a simple experience that would steer them to the right insurance product without overwhelming them with choices.
The Approach
Multi-site Umbraco. Moriyama built a single Umbraco platform that supports multiple brands, each with its own structure, visual identity and customer journeys. Everywhen manages all of them from one shared CMS. Shared infrastructure, reusable components and central governance keep the platform consistent, while brand-specific themes tailor each site to its audience.
Triage journeys. Discovery mapped the different audiences, products and routes across the estate. The focus was triage: helping users work out quickly what type of insurance they need, then guiding them into the right product journey. That matters on a multi-brand platform, where users may not know at the start which brand or product suits them.
A flexible component system. The design adapts to different themes, content and product propositions, so no site feels like a copy of the last, while all of them share the same design logic and front-end components.
Front-end quality. The build focused on responsive layouts, reusable components, clear interaction patterns and accessible implementation, so journeys stay clear on desktop and mobile.
Structured delivery. Moriyama coordinated the brands, the shared CMS requirements and the customer journeys through agreed priorities, phased decisions and regular reviews, from planning to launch.
The Outcome
Everywhen now manages its digital estate from one scalable Umbraco setup, with independent brand experiences on shared infrastructure. Customers have clearer routes to the right product, internal teams have more control and consistency, and the platform is ready for new brands and regional variants.
